Actually I can answer no to both of these. There haven't been any good movies lately, and haven't had much time to read a book good or otherwise. PATR and I are listening to Eric Larson's new book on CD, "Thunderstruck".

For work, I am reding Java & BAPI Technology for SAP. I don't recommend it unless you are a masochist or work with SAP.

Not sure how I feel about Thunderstruck.....I'm still asleep when we are listening to it in the car.

Our community bookclub chose "The Memory Keeper's Daughter" by Kim Edwards for the April meeting.

I just finished a good novel by Greg Iles - "True Evil".

I am re-reading "Eaters of the Dead" by Michael Crichton - the Movie "The 13th Warrior" with Antonio Banderas.

No new movies lately - but I want to See "the 300" when it opens - about the 300 Spartans who kept the Persian Army stopped at Thermopylae in Greece way back when - a great story of persevering against great odds.

* Working on a few Lawrence Sander's books a co-worker gave me.

* We saw Music and Lyric last weekend when we found our self kidless and near the mall. It was cute. Total chick flick.

* We are cuppose to watch Night Listener with Robin Williams this weekend.

1. Have not read any good books lately
2. Saw the latest James Bond movie in 2006. Best thus far by my standards. Up there with 'On Her Majestys Secret Service'.

'BREACH' is an actors movie. Chris Cooper BECOMES Roy Hansen, however Laura Linney also delivered a steller performance. The movie however lacks the necessary elements to make it interesting for me. In short - acting is great, however story lacks that certain something to make it entertaining.

Looking forward to '300' as Bronco has indicated as well. Been reading about the Battle of Thermopylae to better appreciate the situation. Given that it is made by the same guy as 'Sin City', which I haven't watched, this should be an interrsting but loose interpretation of the historical event.
