It is March 23rd ... is it Spring where you live yet? What lets you know that winter in finally over in your part of the country?

Yes it is and we have blooming idiots all around. (nod to Tom's blog) Sorry to all of you for my negative attitude recently....I will try to be better.

Spring is really here. Tulips and daffodils are blooming beautifully. The Dallas Arboretem was just wonderful on Sunday. I will get our pics out on the net and post the link this weekend to this blog question if your interested.
Winter? We have Winter? In Texas? Never heard of such a thing!
It appears to me that Spring has firmly taken hold here in North Texas ....
All the trees that bloom are in bloom or have gone beyond the blooms to leaves ... everything is leafing out and budding and it is so pretty .... there is a softness to the air ... it is Spring!
Now .... please send RAIN!! Lots of RAIN!!!
IT IS STRONGLY SUSPECTED SPRING IS HERE.THE CALANDER DECREED IT AND
NO SNOW IS PREDICTED JUST RAIN.
NOT MUCH SWELLING OF THE BUDS ON THE TREES BUT THEY WILL PROBABLY
SHOW UP PROFUSELY SOME DAY WHEN
I AM CHECKING THE LOGS GOING DOWN TO ORLEANS. HOW MANY OF ALL THOSE
LOGS MAKE THE TRIP THE WHOLE WAY DO YOU 'SPOSE????????
