It would be a work of non-fiction. It would be a travel book that I would call it "Holes in the Wall and other fun places" and the book would contain great places to get good cheap grub anywhere in America along with a bit of local history and neat local sites to visit that are kitchy and touristy.
As the reader would digest this book (pun intended), he would learn of the author's boundless imagination and wanderlust for the open road, good food, history and of course his love of American railroads.
Fiction - The Human Condition. How technology will change the lives of every Human being on the Earth.
OH, were I to have the skill, I would want to write a books like Erma Bombeck's. Humor with a touch of life's lessons included.
But alas, my skills would be better suited to travel guides with lots of photography or a cookbook.
Probably fiction - I have written 2 chapters of a thriller and 1 chapter of a science fiction/golf story (you would have to read it). But writing is HARD!!
I have another book in mind 0 a history of a fictional family through the 20th century to today- based on my family. This would be historical fiction. My family history is basically the history of the US Army from the turn of the 20th century to now. I think it would be really good.
Hugh here again - I'd name the book
'The Human Prediction" - essays about the Human Condition in the upcoming technological age and how it will affect your life"
I'll leave it up to you all whether or not it is Fiction, Non-Fiction or Science Fiction due to postualting the future.
Hmmmm.....I think I would write about a group of women who met on an on-line Diet Website and became good friends, some even meeting in skin! I would write about the daily silliness, the support, the fun and the friction.
Would it be Fiction or
Non-Fiction? Probably a bit of both. (I doubt anyone would believe it was true anyway! LOL)

Hmmmmm .... I could probably join RH in her endeavor ... and it might even become a hit TV series!!! ((I want Kathy Bates to play Me ...))
As for Non-fiction ... I would write about Education ... I need to get back to writing in my other blog about all of the stuff going on right now. Whenever the legislature is in session, I am constantly reminded of why I left the class room ... and happy I did so!
