No. I have been released every time I have been called to Jury duty.
No.
One was a murder - ended in a plea bargin
One was a DUI - I was the first one released since I had the stomach flu and the dupty of the court had to keep escorting me out to the ladies room.
One was a home break-in resulting in a gun fight with the home owner....I would have been on the jury AGAINST the home owner...during the questioning it came out that my spouse (ex now) was a member of the NRA and the lawyers X'ed me from the jury.
No and no. I have never been selected or even called so far.
Been called for jury duty several times - have never sat on one.
I was in the jury pool for a casse where someone fell in a grocery stors and was suing. The attorney did not want anyone on the jury who had a brain.
Bronco didn't have anything to do with the fact that you told the attorney if you had been the store manager, you would have still charged her for the produce and glass jars she broke upon falling would it? :-)
I've been called but due to medical circumstances at the time, I wasn't able to fulfill my duty.
No and No.
As with most things in this BLOG ... this question was related to my life ...
I did have to report to Jury Duty today ... for Denton County Courts. I did not get selected. They seated 6 or 7 juries out of the over 250 people who showed up. It was interesting. But I was very glad I didn't get selected.
