I would like to see more efficient, renewable energy sources.
The best would be that small fusion reactor from "Back to the Future" that uses garbage as fuel - that would be perfect.
Other than that, I would like to see much more efficient and effective active solar cells to generate electricity - sufficient power for a home and personal transportation at an affordable price.

I love the idea of renewable energy. But I'm going to choose a faster more efficient way to travel. I want to go see my sister-in-law and her family more often. My flight back from Boston last night was quite uncomfortable and the people around me were so RUDE.
I agree that we need clean renewable energy sources. More, I would like to see something that would ensure cleaner, safer medical care. (I wonder why I said that?)
I like Tom's answer ... okay .... I like everyone's answers!! So I'll agree with everyone and add a little device I could use at the gym ... a drying tube that you could step into after a shower and it would dry you off totally ... including hair!!
They have such devices in JDRobb's novels set in 2059 ... I want them now!!
