1. Pecan Pie (From the Women's Home Companion Cookbook, Out of Print, Original 1942 edition)
2. Apple Pie (My sister's)
3. Pumpkin Pie (My Mother-in-Law's)
4. Banana Nut Cake (My Mother-in-Law's)
5. Almost any kind of dessert but Tapioca Pudding - as George Carlin would say, "Tapioca, the only known dessert that produces leftovers!"

Pecan Pie is number one. I used to hate it as a kid, but now I can't get enough of it.

Also have to have fudge...lots and lots of fudge.

Everything else is just extra :)

Pumpkin Pie
Apple Pie
Pecan Pie
Pretty typical! No Mincemeat Pie?
The member of the family that made it has died and nobody in our family has picked up the tradition.

Fudge
Brownies

Honestly, I like having a plate of beans ,mac and cheese and stuffing a few hours after dinner as my dessert. It is something we do not have around often and living with the Baker Dude, normally there are sweets around all year.

1. Marsha's Pecan Pie with a lovely cup of coffee sets me up just fine!

2. If there is cheesecake of some sort or another, I'll take that, too!
