Question #650

The Time "Springs Ahead" to Daylight Savings Time next Sunday, March 9th .... Congress moved it last year from the beginning of April. How do you feel about Daylight Savings Time vs Standard Time vs just leave the clocks alone?

I like having more daylight hours. (I know it's just a facade, but it's one I've gotten used to! LOL)

STOP messing with the clock. Daylight savings time was instituted during the Weimar Republic in Post WW1 Germany when it required a wheel barrell of german marks to buy a loaf of bread.

In essence DST is not needed and most likely we are the only country who impliments it. It causes confusion with world markets. Our government says we will do DST, it wasn't naturally adopted. Yet another case of the G-people determining what they think is best for us all.

I really wish we could just stop messing with the clock! I prefer the longer days of Spring/Summer, but hate the short, dark winter days. I don't know enough about to say what would happen if we didn't adjust the clocks, but I still vote for leaving them alone!!!

I vote we go to DST and stay there from now on...... Yes, the days will get shorter just becuase of our distance/angle to the sun, but heck, I want more daylight all year long......during winter, I leave in the dark and get home in the dark. I just want 10 minutes of daylight after I get to the house.....enough time to get the mail out of the box and not worry about SPIDERS or SNAKES that can't be seen!

I know the history of DLST. Fine. Farmsers need more sunlight hours to work. It's all a communist plot! Leave the clocks ALONE.

I guess you can tell DLST makes me angry. It takes at least a month to get used to it. It just kills me.
