Question #655

Do you take Vitamins or supplements on a daily basis? If so, would you mind sharing what you take and why?

Do you feel they are helping?

Yes, I feel much better. By far and wide taking an intestinal probiotic has greatly improved my digestive tract. Jarrodophilus is the name, dry capsules, no liquid at all. I also take a Vitamin B stress complex and chewable vitamin C tablets.

I am taking a Multi-Vitamin for women ... an Iron Pill with a Vitamin C pill to help absorption ... Omega3 Fish Oil for cholesterol, etc ...

I think they are helping .... I have been anemic for a long time, so I am glad to find an Iron pill which seems to be working!!

Multi-vitamin, saw palmetto (men's urinary health), papaya (digestion, GI), Calcium, Cinnamon Bark (helps regulate blood sugar and provides a nice cinnamon toast flavored belch in the morning).

Oh I have a laundry list:
Multi
Calcium
Cinnamon
Herb formula called sugar reg
Herb formula called blood sugar formula
Herb formula urinary tract health
Cranberry & Buchu for kidneys
Fiber

I really do think all of the herbs I'm taking does helps keep my A1C below 6 and keeps the UTI's away.

I used to take fish oil, but once diagnosed diabetic, it was highly recommended that I stop taking it.

My Dr has seen a reversal of some osteo after I started the calcium supplements.

I also make sure I drink 8 oz of Soy Milk daily.
