I sleep like the dead, so no sleeping aid needed. It takes 1.5 minutes or less for me to pass out once my head hits the pillow (and sometimes I don't even have to be in bed...sitting on the couch, in the car, etc. are also key sleeping places). I'm a great sleeper. I wasn't always like that. I used to toss and turn and only get about 2 hours per night. But I never used a sleeping aid. Sometimes I had a couple glasses of wine, but that didn't seem to help either. I still don't get enough sleep because I wake up quite early, but it's much better than it used to be!

Yes, Melatonin, time released. Per the doctor for me 6mg to start. It's been called God's gift to mankind. Some sites willa dvise no more than 3 mg. It also causes morning frowsiness until the serotonin kicks in which measn letting light hit the optic nerve, gotta keep those eyes open!

Yes. Sometimes I do have to use something to sleep.

I've used the following:
Tylenol PM--works great
Ambien--scary sleep, can't remember dreams
Sonata--good sleep, restful.

Tylenol PM with a small glass of wine works wonderfully!

Sometimes, yes .... especially if I have had several restless nights in a row.

I use 3 different things ... if muscle aches are included, I use AdvilPM and I like it alot! If I just want to sleep, I use Simply Sleep - an OTC sleep aid. I do have 2 Lexapro left from a script ... I like it, too ... but the OTC stuff works fine.
