Here is my list of 5 - IN particular order!
1. Seeing my wife waiting for me at the airport when I got to Baggage Claim (there is a joke in there somewhere...).
2. Seeing my beagles, George & Gracie when we got home from the airport as they went crazy.
3. Being home (detecting a theme yet?)
4. Going to BJ's on the Friday between my Houston trip and my Pasadena trip.
5. Eating dinner at Gladstone's on the beach in Malibu and watching a pod of dolphin play not 20 feet from the beach.

My 5 don't nearly match up to PEF's, but here goes:
1. Having my son pick me up from the airport on Friday after a trip to Atlanta
2. Hearing my kitty greet me when I came home.
3. Getting an e-mail from a friend after a long silence.
4. Getting calls from friends welcoming me home, telling me they missed me while I was gone.
5. Finding out my niece will be moving to Ft. Worth for graduate school!

In no particular order:

1. I shaved my long-haired Australian Shepherd to the skin, except for his head. He's so freakin' cute! Looks like a puppy again.

2. My teenage daughter makes me smile and laugh constantly. She's such a clown.

3. My husband is almost done with the perimeter of our new patio.

4. I got the laundry done and the carpets cleaned and still had time to relax a little.

5. Our electricity was back on after an outage of about 30 hours.

It's the little things in life :)

2) Seeing PEF exit security at 1 am Friday morning after being gone all week.

3) Hearing about a friends birthday party.

4) Teasing PEF that he went all the way to Houston and then California just to get away from the Left Over Meat Stuff!

5) Watching the wonder beagles (George & Gracie) play.

Since my lovely wife mentioned me RUNNOFT from the Meat Stuff she prepared, I thought it only fair that I share with you what "The Meat Stuff" is lest you let your perverse minds wander too much. It is very good, even though I am not a lover of leftovers. As George Carlin once said, "Leftover - its such a said word. I would never want to be a leftover, unless they were taking people out to be shot, then I might volunteer to be a leftover"

Meat Stuff

2 lb ground beef, chicken or turkey
2 lb sweet Italian sausage - loose
2 onions
2 red bell pepper
2 yellow bell pepper
Salt
Pepper
Garlic Powder

Brown meat and sausage. If you use chicken or turkey, I would brown it with the sausage so that it has more flavor.
Place 1/2 of the meat in bottom of crock pot.
Salt, pepper and garlic powder - pinch or two of each.
Dice the onion into large chunks.
Peel and dice your peppers into about the same size chunks
Place 1/2 onion and all peppers in crock pot on top of the meat.
Salt, pepper and garlic powder - pinch or two of each.
Place remainder of meat on top
Finish with remaining onion.
Salt, pepper and garlic powder - pinch or two of each.

Cover and let cook on high in crock pot 6 hours.

Stir when done.

Serving suggestions:
In a French roll with grated cheese
Mix with spaghetti sauce
Over corn chips and top with cheese
In a tortilla wrap with cheese and salsa
The uses are endless…. It tastes darn good all by itself!
