I have a regular stylist. She cuts my hair about once every other month whether I need it or not.
I have had my hair styled, permed, quaffed and everything else which is why I have no more hair....and I dont need to get it cut very often. :-)
I'm not regular in getting my hair styled. I just go when I'm sick of fooling with it.
My regular hair stylest has fallen out of favor. I'm going to try someone new this weekend!
My hair is natural after years of coloring. I figured why fight nature...besides the cost of color every 6 weeks gets expensive when your hair is a gray as mine. LOL
When my hair was long, I rarely cut it or even trimmed it unless it got frizzy and weird. Now that I have a shorter, styled cut, I'm going to have to keep up with it more often. I'm letting it grow back out, but I still want to keep it neat. I also have highlights now, so I can't let the roots show :)
I just found a great new stylist, so I'm sticking with him. I hate going to new people each time and taking a chance that they will screw my hair up!
I get my hair cut when it starts to get the shaggy dog look. Straight when short, curly when moderately long; going back to straight when very long.
The little vietnamese parlor around the corner does my hair. Sonny is his name.
To date I have not colored my hair for any reason, this is what sets men apart from women in my opinion. The only chemical treatment; if you can call it that; is shampoo, which is just shampoo, not shampoo and conditioner, not shampoo with weird chemicals to 'retain color' or anything else.
You think men don't notice all the hair care products you women use, think again!
About every 6 weeks, and I go to the same person if she is available. She was not two weeks ago and now I'm living with a "just okay" haircut. It's flat, where Kim can add some wave with just the cut.
My hair is natural, flat, straight and short. I stopped all checmical alteration about 15 years ago (perms and hi-lights)....I'm going let my grey show proudly because I'm earning every one of them! I do use hairspray in the mornings otherwise it would look like I was wearing a leather football helmet.
I get my haircut whenever it starts bothering me ... welll actually a couple of weeks after it starts bothering me ...
I have a curly perm in my hair and I really liked this last perm I got ... perfect amount of curl!
