I wouldn't get a tattoo ever. I find there is something beautiful about the unmarked skin of a human being...something like purity. I do find them interesting just not for me.
But if I were imagining, it would be in an area that is private, maybe around the hip bone. Something feminine and dainty.

I have no desire to get a Tattoo and I've had plenty of chances being in the Military.
I have very close friends that are completely Tattoo'ed. I appreciate the art work and ingenuity of the art, but a tattoo isn't for me.
I definitely appreciate the artists and their skills. I loved watching Miami Ink, just as I love watching Orange County Choppers. It feeds some more 'wild' side to my personality I guess.
However, I do not plan on ever riding a motorcycle or getting all inked up.
I have considered a tattoo that designates me as Diabetic vs wearing a medic alert bracelet (which I should but do not do) But I really don't want to branded either....
In episode of Miami Ink an elderly woman had her initials tattooed on her shoulder just in case she was washed away by a hurricane. I thought that was pretty smart thinking on her part.....
The only Tattoos I would consider would be eye-liner and eye-brow tattoos .... aka permanent make-up .... it isn't quite the same as a tattoo ... so I am not sure it counts ...
