The Best Ever was The Allman Brothers at the Filmore West in 1975.

Or, maybe The Stones at Folsom Filed in Boulder, CO in 1975 or The Eagles at Folsom Field in 1979.

Or, maybe Fleetwood Mac at Folsom Field in 1980. Or, how about "A Day at the Green" at Oakland Coliseum in 1976 - Tower of Power, Taj Mahal, Boz Scaggs, Blood Sweat & Tears, Loggins & Messina - that was a good day.

I also say a great jazz show at a club in Denver in 1976 with Stanley Clarke and Weather Report.

Obviously, too many great shpows to pick one.

SURE WISH SOME OF YOU FOLKS WOULD
TAKE YOUR SHARE OF THE 'CRUNCHY'
COLD. SPOSED TO GET UP TO 10-15 THE NEXT COUPLE DAYS THEN BACK DOWN AGAIN.
RE: CIN'S PROBLEM. IT WOULD BE THE
NEW YORK PHILHARMONIC WITH RISE
STEVENS IN "CARMEN". BACK IN THE 50'S WAY DOWN IN DAVENPORT.

BB King last week at the Bass Hall in Ft. Worth. It was AMAZING.

The great Count Basie Orchestra led by the late great Frank Foster on sax with the incomparable Joe Williams on vocals along with the late great jazz pianist and vocalist Diane Shure at the Monterey Jazz Festival no less! Incredible. Only things missing, my yet undiscovered wife and the Count himself!

Running a very close 2nd - ditto the Great High Mountain Tour my wife mentioned and/or Ibrahim Ferrera and his Latin Orchestra at Bass Hall.

Oh I had forgotten about Ibrahim Ferrera and his Latin Orchestra at Bass Hall...... yes, that runs a very close 2nd.....

Also, if you ever see the Preservation Hall Jazz Band from new orleans coming to town, GO! they make #3 on my list.
