If you found that a good friend had AIDS, would you avoid him? What if your brother or sister had it?
((I think this book was written in 1985 .... not a lot was known about AIDS then ...))

Nope, I would not avoid him or her, I would support them.
Ditto to Rant Master.
I currently have friends who are HIV poistive. I do not have as yet any friends who have AIDS. I would not avoid either. I am aware of the precautions necesssary to prevent acquiring the disease from carriers.
Of course not....Just think about all that we know today, but don't understand....and roll forward 20 years....we will know so much more, but still not understand....
I don't even understand what I just typed....
Never....would be there to give them all the support and help possible.
