Too good. I always shut my face.
I think some things should be said from the get go.
My experience is that some people will not stop even if you don't confront.. so have your say.
I'm horrible at biting my tongue. I have an opinion about almost everything and think it needs to be heard! If I make a strong effort, I can usually hold it in, but I have to tell myself in my head, over and over again, "it's not your place, Pam, shut your yap". Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. :)
I tend to keep it all in, then explode later.
I've often bitten my tongue in half it seems. But sometimes I've been asked my opinion on a situation and then I have the "internal debate" with myself as to whether I should answer or not. Sometimes I do and sometimes I'm glad I did and other times...not so much. LOL And then the Country song starts playing in my head "You've got to know when to hold 'em and know when to fold..." Life's pretty much a crap shoot. But in every game of chance, there is also a certain amount of skill involved. As a human being with innate imperfections, I'm still working on trying to develop those skills. So I march on...sometimes with a bruised tongue, sometimes with a wounded soul and a slightly dented spirit, but ALWAYS HOPEFUL!
Yeap - got no problem keeping my mouth shut. If I am asked for my advice I will gladly provide it with a grain of salt.
Not real good of holding my tongue. Face usually gives me away.
In all likelihood I am going to say what is on my mind. I may, may temper it to the audience and I may not. While considerate of positions and feelings, there are sometimes when something needs to be said and I have never shyed away from saying it.
It really depends on the situation. I do tend to say what I think.
