Someone you love deeply is brutally murdered and you know the identity of the murderer, who unfortunately is aquitted of the crime.

Would you seek revenge?

I would absolutely seek revengem but not in a stupid way.

Revenge is a dish better served cold

Tom selected this question ... I have avoided asking it because even thinking about it takes me to a sad, dark place.

I don't want to think about someone I love deeply being brutally murdered ... I have this feeling in me that merely thinking about things makes the possibility more real .... so even now, I am tiptoeing around the edges of the question.

I know why peole are giving short non-detailed answers ... they don't want to think about it either ...

My answer is "yes".

This is very hard.
My first thought would be to seek the darkest revenge possible but I do not believe in mindless killing, so I could not kill another person except in self-defense to protect myself and/or my loved ones.
