20 degrees cooler than 10 days ago - we were in the middle of a long series of days with temps over 100 - it would be 95 at 10 pm.
Makes it hard to sleep.
We are also in the middle of a drought, but we had a full day of rain on Monday last - it was great!!
My wife and I went to our favorite watering hole and spent the afternoon playing Scrabble and sipping suds.

It's beautiful here. High's around 88, low's in the mid 50's. We still need lots of rain, though. Rain would make it perfect.
Here in beautiful Carmel-By-The-Sea
at the moment it's a bit overcast, but in another hour the sun will peak through and we'll have the perfect day in this glorious village! This is a Golfers' Paradise and a walkers delight---all the lovely wee shoppes and many grand restaurants.
A real slice of Heaven!!!
After Ernesto and the terrible rain storms blew through, it was unusually cool for a few days. But it's slowly creeping back up into the low 80's, which is still pretty nice compared to other parts of the country.
cold in the morning and almost hot in the afternoon.
To Anonymous - it is always beautiful in Carmel-by-the-sea even when its not. I was stationed in Monterey twice at DLI, love that area.
