Our household is very much under the weather....sinusitis and bronchitis, so we were laid up all weekend. How was the signing? and the receiption?
Yes, way different than both Pat and I planned. We stay in all weekend, both of us were under the weather as it were and still are. Which mean't we missed our good friends and the book signing. Hope it went very well.
Ihad my very first DVD/Book signing ... I sold 6 DVD's ... 5 to friends a 1 to a complete stranger. (Thanks you wonderful friends who have supported me in this endevor!!)
I did get to talk to a lot of people about Math and Testing and Texas schools, etc. I hope to get some feedback from Borders today.
The reception was attended by friends ... no new faces .... lots of regular faces were missed ...
The Baker Dudes treats were/are awesome ... and there is TONS of food and drink left over.

nothing new here except for trying a new wine from S.Africa-"Goats do Roam". Loved the name. Wine wasn't bad. Sunday started as usualy, off to Mass to sing tra la la, but then came back to a house full of chores so i did what any sane woman would do. I put on my leathers and started up the harley and took a 4 hour ride touring the area!
Way to go on the book signing CinCin
This weekend I volunteered at the All Saints Catholic Church Dinner and Dance on Friday Night. Finished that and then got some good rest, got up and made it to Cindy's book signing and then too the reception which I enjoyed very much. Since I am rarely west of I35, I was able to meet a friend of mine who lives in Bedford. Sunday was a day of rest and listening to the rain fall on the roof. All in all a great weekend.

Let's see...not much difference. I said a prayer for Cin's DVD/Book signing on Saturday, fed mt daughter tea,chicken soup and sympathy for her cold while my hubby was off getting training.
On Sunday,I watched my football team snatch defeat from the jaws of victory!(Not so sure that was different though!)But, I was alone, as my daughter was at rehearsals and my hubby was giving training! LOL Celebrated a friends Birthday on-line (maybe a little too much, too fast, so THAT was different!)
Cin...I hope the feedback from Borders is great! And I just know your DVD will be a success. My daughter is learning a lot! Thank you!
I thought about my mathematically marvellous friend who had her book/ DVD signing...
I had the kids and kidlets over.
