I live by the jumbled and messy. Please let me clarify for those of you who do not know me. I do not have anything out that is rotting, such as food, etc. I don't have anything laying around that myself or my dog could step on and hurt themselves. However my house is not for kids, my niece or my nephew. I live alone for now and I know where everything is. Clothes go in the dirty clothes hamper. However I have Carpet stains, and I don't vacuum as often as I should. I have stuff lying around.
Clean, neat and organized. But if it means I have to be a 'slave' and miss out on quality time with my family, I would leave it just the way it is jumbled and messy.
(And I did put on my "good attitude" today....good and ornery)
I can vouch for my wife's attitude as well as her sentiments on the status of the house. That's why we have someone come and clean our house every other week.
As much as I love looking around to a clean, neat and organized home, life is what life is and I would rather jump on the bike for a ride, or sit with friends than devote myself to a tidy home.
Thank God for Vanessa, the once a week housekeeper!

IS HANDY WHEN THE WEATHER TURNS COLD AGAIN. IT DOESN'T BOTHER ME AND IT'S READY TO GO, AS FOR ALL THE OTHER STUFF THAT IS WOMANS WORK, AND JULIE DOES IT ALL EVERY TIME SHE COMES TO CUT MY HAIR. MUST SAY THE PLACE LOOKS PRETTY GOOD RIGHT AFTER SHE HAS BEEN HERE.
I'm not really an "all the time" person.
My house is very clean, neat and orderly except when its jumbled and messy....LOL!
