Have I given blood - Yes. Do I give blood on a regular basis -No.
For the record I am type O Negative, or 6% of the population.
I have given blood regularly, but have not given blood recently. My type is A+. Fits my personality don't you think?
Tried once, fainted, then the vampire told me not to try again. B+
I am going to attempt to go give blood today ... buy often my iron level is too low. I am O+ which I believe is the Universal Donor Type ... and they always need a lot of O+. I try to give as often as my iron levels will let me.
I like giving the Double Red ... where they seperate the Red Cells from the plasma and give you the plasma back ... it doesn't leave you feeling "drained".
Then I like to go drink lots of beer ... just like in College!! LOL ....
