Extort money from him for my silence. Cause after all what are friends for if you can't abuse them. No, I would talk to him or her and try to get them some help. Help can be even turning them over to authorities. But I would tell them that I could not let them continue either way.
If they were selling to kids, I would turn them in without hesitation. Get them help as well.
I wouldn't have anything more to do with them. The rest is up too that person.

I would call a friend that works in the PD. Hey wait, that might be friend in questions.....
Hopefully not have to pay for it any more. heh heh heh heh Really, I would have a come-to-jesus meeting with him - try to get him help - or drop him like a hot rock. However, it says close friend. I would think I knew he/she was doing beforehand.
