Q #82
Is it easy for you to accept help when you need it? Will you ask for help?

I hate having to admit when I need help .... but I am getting better about it the older I get.
I used to never ask for help .... I would muddle through on my own ... or not do it at all ....
Like I said ... I am getting better about it.
I would have to say no. It generally means I have not been able to get something to work correctly which can include emotional things as well as physical. Kinda like admitting you failed at something. Of course this is not the way you are supposed to look at it but it is the way I often feel.
It is neither easy to accpet or ask for help. I find my self helping alot of other people, like Habitat for Humanity in Septmber. Yet I need to get things done around the house and don't ask others for help.
The only exception is when I need someone to watch my dog Gina. I do not hesitate to ask for help with Gina.
I will usually ask for help if I need, but it really depends that with which I need help.
I know I am bad at electrical and plumbing stuff around the house - as well as most other (other than minor) repairs - so I would rsather ask for help (and pay for it) than screw up whatever it is worse than it was already screwed up.
Oh, I just hate asking for help and feeling obligated to return the favor later. And I don't accept help very well either. Old addage that if you need a job done, best do it yourself. Even though I might be in over my head!
