Yes. But I would be a PITTYFUL soldier. Support staff, now I could do that.
NOPE, i would be a draft dodger for sure. I could NEVER kill a person, I even wonder if i would be able to defend myself if it came to is. I would rather die than live knowing that I took a life. Of course, that may change if I ever came face to face with the situation.

Yes - but I can't run anymore due to knee injury. I doubt they would have me.
I however could do support work, particularly in a Hospital.
If it is in defense of America .... I don't think I would have a choice! 49, obese, with bad knees would keep me out of a draft .... but if the war is HERE on American soil .... I'd be fighting ...
Speaking of which ... need to learn how to operate all the guns in the house and get familiar with them ....
I think they'd send me home real fast! I could not kill anyone, and I so admire all of our soldiers who have fought for our freedom, their families as well. I am so glad I have never had to face this personally, I'd probably have a heart attack as well!
Sure - been there, done that.
I will teach you Cin
I spent 10 years in service of my country, I volunteered during Desert Storm to go back on active duty, though they did not need intelligence analysts with my particular language specialties since mine are not middle eastern languages. But I took an oath to defend this country against all enemies foreign or domestic and I have never felt that oath was rescinded when I was discharged. I would serve in any way I could.
