Well when I was young I wanted to be an Architect. I was even offered an Architectural Apprentiship my freshman year in High School based upon my talents, but we moved to Maine at the end of my freshman year. While I regret the loss of the apprenticeship, I never regretted the move.
Where am I now? I am IT Project Manager/Business Systems Analyst working for a 2nd largest Architectural Engineering Design and Construction Company in the World.
Guess I am pretty close....
Math teacher - then my aunt introducted me to a CPA. That day changed my future. At age 9 or 10 - I decided that I would be a CPA. At age 30, I walked accross the stage in Tarrant County Convention Center and received my liscense.
Today - I work in IT supoorting SAP payroll/HR. - And do not regret moving out of accounting. It was so boring.
I wanted to be an Astronomer/Astrophysicist. I am now an Electrical Engineer with a specialization in Telecommunications. I work in Telecommunications.
It is written that all men dream of being the King or Chieftan. I don't dream of being a Chieftan, I'm fine being a brave!
I wanted to be a cowboy or a fireman or an astronaut or the guy who serves ice cream at Baskin Robbins.
I have not quite made it as high as the ice cream guy
