Uh, that would be talking in class but no one would have ever guessed that. My first grade report card, back when teachers actually commented on every students report card, said, "Daniel would rather draw that get down to good, constructive work". I am proud to say I haven't changed a bit.
Had a math teacher, Mrs. Shaw, that kept a deck of cards on her desk held together by a rubberband. Anyone caught talking received a deck of cards upside the head from the front of the room. I swear she could have pitched for the Yankees. For all the talking I did, I never got hit with the deck of cards, but the poor souls who sat behind me did. Good peripheral vision pays off....
I didn't get in much trouble when I was young. No joking.
However, the most trouble I got in was after I started driving. Someone keyed my Grimlin in the high school parking lot. My father yelled at me for an hour trying to find out who I had got into a fight with or who hated me enough to do it. I never knew who did it, but I do remember crying and crying over the whole thing.
Even to this day, I'm very emotional about that incident. To get in so much trouble for doing nothing at all.
